Microbiologist society held many conferences to date;

  4. One day workshop for college girls on the topic ‘Vermicompost from kitchens waste’ at Karad (M.S.)  in 2002.
  5. Three days national workshop on ‘Biology and Biotechnology of Actinomycetes’ at Osmanabad (M.S.) in  March 2009.
  6. One day workshop on e-learning in Microbiology at Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University, Aurangabad in August 2011.
  7. The society has organized farmers gathering to percolate the biofertilizer technology at Karad (M.S.) in 1998 and  at  Osmanabad (M.S.)  in March 2007

Other Achievements:

  1. The society is running a scientific journal “Journal of Microbial World” since 1999.  Five proceedings of various conferences have been published in     the journal.
  2. The society is having its branches at many Universities in India.
  3. At present there are two hundred & Fourty life members and One hundred & thirty nine annual members of the society.
  4. The society has conducted virtual classes in Microbiology in 250 colleges and 50 teachers have delivered lectures.
  5. The Society has created one Microbiology Group on Telegram and 2000 students are members of that group. The information of Job opportunities, Seminars, Conferences, Workshops, Training in Microbiology is given in the group.
  6. The Society has organize 1st Webinar in India in Microbiology on 13 October 2018 on the Topic “Nanobiotechnology”
